My problem is how to remove flywheel that is stuck tight. I know someone should hold flywheel while another whacks craknshaft nut. Tried, but nothing gives. Afraid of harming crankshaft, etc. Could heating flywheel help? Also have a ruined crankcase and crankshaft assembly with breakerless CD ignit...

This clip may help you with the flywheel removal. Were you using a lump hammer? You need to give it a good hard square on the nut blow. Make sure the nut you are using is steel and not brass (been there, done that!) Others will probably advise you to use heat, I think plenty of soaking with penetrat...

i didn't know you couldn't change the lead, i just took the top off and pulled the old one out and bought a new one the same length and then did some research it turns out that where the lead goes inside there's a little screw gizmo that the lead screws onto.
