Re: How to clean tank ?
I used this method in the end, I cut up a load of thick copper wire into a polishing media similar to pins, added a bit of degreaser and every time I'm waiting for the kettle to boil in the workshop I gave it a good shaking, its removed all the flaky crud and it's getting back to clean brass inside....

Re: How to clean tank ?
I have boiled it out with citric acid and shaken it up with copper nails inside, it's not going to be practical to clean it this way, has anyone tried epoxy fuel tank lining ?

lovely day out on the river
I had a nice chug up the river with my trusty 102 today, and spent a not so relaxing afternoon on the river bank taking the BL***y ! thing apart to get to a blockage in the block water inlet, there's nothing better on a sunny day in Buckinghamshire to be covered in oily gunge, petrol all over the pl...

Re: water blockage
I couldn't get a 1.5 mm wire in there much. I was thinking acid would do a better job ?
Maybe electrolosis ?

Re: water blockage
Stripped it down today, and a nice lump of rust was blocking the water outlet in the block, I didn't have the time or tools to take the head off, but I will have to give it a proper clean out at some point.

clutch lever 102
Anyone tell me the correct way the lever goes on the stud ? My guess is spring first, then lever through the large beveled hole, then washer and nut ? The bolt through the main tube locking ring should be at the spark plug end ? The end of the operating rod should ride over the locking ring to keep ...

Re: water blockage
I haven't got time to strip the whole thing down, can't I flush it out ?
I was running along fine, but must have picked up some weed or leaves.

water blockage
Got a water blockage in my 102, no output from the pee hole. Can anyone tell me the drill for clearing water stoppages please.
I've got no hose to back flush it where I am, but I've got compressed air, and various wires to poke it with.
