Apologies to you very kind experts, the flywheel plate was so perfectly fitted that it appeared as one solid piece!
I have now realised my error, removed it to find the normal apertures and an immaculate points assembly inside.

The flywheel with nut and plate removed is a solid surface with no apertures giving view of interior.

Just collected a Little Forty 52
Having viewed a several videos showing points access I was surprised to find that the flywheel has no apertures and therefore has to be removed.
Is this normal and what system should I expect to find?
