Re: LS correct gear box

You're welcome Art,

I've found also a complete Villiers carb in the FVP parts box.

I've answered your email.

Re: LS correct gear box

Hi Art,

I've found a FVP prop in the Little Forty parts box, needs some polishing.

This FVP prop will not fit the FV gear box because of the prop diameter.

I use a steel wire from a wire brush to clean the small holes in carbs.

Re: Question For You

Never seen this flywheel date code on a complete engine.

I've some NOS flywheels with the same stamp and still packed with a layer of Cosmoline.

Maybe only used for replacement/spare part flywheels?

Re: Proposed Seagull Marathon early next summer 2011 May/Jun

Nice pickies and film, your text is brilliant Robin! Today I talked with Martin about the great time we had in Itchenor and during the ‘Round Hayling Island Marathon’. We definitely coming to Itchenor in 2012 and hope to bring more Dutch Seagull enthusiasts. Hopefully the Dutch will not exceed the n...

Re: Proposed Seagull Marathon early next summer 2011 May/Jun

Martin, Wander and me are definitely coming to Itchenor. We just booked the ferry to join the 1st Seagull round Hayling Island Marathon. We will arrive in Harwich on Thursday morning May 19 and we will be in Itchenor around noon. In the next weeks we have to pick up and modified the trailer and asse...

1940s and 1950s 102 Seagulls have copper pipes. From 1960 they have the plastic hoses.

Re: Caveat emptor No. 2

This is a Century powerhead.
So, you want a Silver Century with the Amal carb stub!
I think you need it for a racing Gull :D
