Re: Anzani Triton

Olli,

One of our chapter members has an Anzani Sports Twin currently in a shipping container making its way over to Australia.

I will ask him if he has any pictures of his motor.

Cheers

Re: New Gulls

headdownarseup Nice to see another one has come back to life again. What's next on the "to do" list? Painting, or acquiring the correct parts, or a bit of both :P Jon, Yes she does run quite nicely. A quick check this morning and no gearbox oil is leaking out which is a bonus. The owner h...

Re: New Gulls

Hi all Today I've been working on the WHC. Compression dry @ 50psi and wet @ 60psi. Good spark when flywheel flicked by hand. Exterior of motor cleaned, carburettor cleaned, gearbox drained, cleaned and reassembled. Some water in the gearbox but mostly a coffee-coloured emulsion. Fresh 10/1 in a sub...

Re: Seagull on the Dordogne in France

Yes, very nice boat and welcome to the forum!

I like your height adjustment set-up on your Seagull, with the 40 series engine lug.

Re: Watermota Has Come To Stay

Great score B.

Maybe a possibility to have running briefly at the next meet? :P

Are any others known to exist today?

Re: New Gulls

headdownarseup From my perspective these W series 102's aren't very well documented in my data lists. When you get 5 mins could you put up a few better close up pics for me to study. :P Jon, I'll get some more pics for you as soon as I can. I'll also send you the data from both of these motors when...

Re: New Gulls

Small stud Charles (if for example the one on an AD is a big stud). Thanks for the tip; am not sure if I will actually weld it or not... I have had great success with Pratley's Steel Putty before, I might give it a go with that before trying to weld. No excess weight is really put on the tiller and ...

Re: Carburettor Cover - Anzani Unitwin

S,

Might be a worthwhile idea to have a chat with Howard if you haven't already. He has two Unitwins, one with the full carburettor cover assembly and one with half; maybe if you wanted to go down the path of casting a set he could lend you his original ones?

Just a thought

New Gulls

Hi all Recently it's been a bit of a dull period for me here Down Under - I've missed quite a few motors that I would've liked to get, exams at school taking up lots of time etc. My "Wanted - Seagull Outboards" advert that has been on Gumtree Aus for a very long time finally turned up a go...

Re: Carburettor Cover - Anzani Unitwin

S,

When you say carburettor covers, are you looking for the actual hinged shrouds that open to access the carburettor or the 'cover' that goes over the front of the carbie?

Re: Little Forty

Charles re your comment about how spinning the flywheel with an electric drill won't help recharge/ "fix" the flywheel magnets, if it has been proven to not have an effect then should John be notified (if he hasn't been already) and have the part in the FAQ's on the website where it says i...

Johnson Seagull

Hi all Back in May I was given this little 1968 1.5hp Johnson. I managed to briefly start it at our old outboard meet, but as there was no fuel line from the tank to the carbie, I couldn't see if it would run on the back of a boat. At the start of this month, I 'rediscovered' it under my workshop be...
