Saving Old Seagulls

I only need the complete ignition unit now as I now have a recoil starter.
if anyone has one I could swop something seagull for it or cash.

I had it running in a small trash can, after 1/2 hour, there is a pretty good oil slick on the water,...Totally normal
some of the later Gulls [F/N/R]have oil seals in the gearbox and use thinner oil.

NO probs if a WEelee bin will work...That will... looks like a good idea.
Will be interesting to see the comparison results.
You don't want the Gulls too low down...for your back!

I would stay away from them outboards.
I wouldn't trust the quality.
better with an old Yamaha etc if a seagull wont do.
and the selling vid is a joke!

Its easy to fit F/N/R box to a silver century...got the T shirt grinding not necessary

Remember if it aint broke Don't ...you know the rest! These cranks last forever ...don't need rollers. Im sure there is a bevel to aid the rings/piston going in. Is there something wrong with the gearbox?[they are very strong]...if not why change it? "How about porting the transfer slots?"...

think it went for about £230...carnt remember exactly .
Why the silly saw cut...maybe for some sort of silly choke slotted in there?
