Century or Silver Century cylinder, longshaft drive tube
Hoping to find a cylinder for a WSPC, and a longshaft drive tube good enough to be rechromed. Have a used recoil start ACC11000 from a WSPCL---NN7, in good working order,[could use repainting] plus cash. Located in Nova Scotia, Canada

Century props
How do the 5 blade 11" hydrofan and the later 4 blade 11" compare in performance? The 4 blade is off a Wspcl 532 NN7, it had a Siba recoil start and a plastic 1 gal.? tank on it, I don't know whether they were refits or not.

Recoil start on WSPCL
Just got a WSPCL----NN7 as a parts motor, it has a siba recoil start and plastic tank on it. Were these available on this motor or should I assume they were refits?

Does anyone know how many holes /in. they have? Or /mm. How about gluing in a nylon one from a chainsaw? I know they turn in the 10k- 13k rpm range, and so probably have much tighter piston and cylinder clearances. Or how about the foam style filters they use in some small engines?

Hi, Well naptha is used over here in pressurized petrol camping stoves. It was the used early in the century often in auto engines I believe. As far as I remember from my studies years ago, it has none of the additives of modern petrol, otherwise its very similar to petrol. However it has an octane ...
