The Insulastic bolt on bracket seems to be quite good. I have had one in use for my short shaft Silver Century plus and it gets a fair bit of use. I have never seen one for 40 series engine however. That's a thing of beauty - I would lacquer it and have it in my lounge - (probably, however, with a divorce as an accessory.)
But I don't like the tiller arm and throttle lever - the arm does not look original - surely that was not standard even on a 1955 model 40-?
