Regular backfire
My CPC is running OK for a while, but after some time it is giving backfires.
At first once but after some time every minute. Takes back in rpm. but picks up again and runs until the next backfire.
Where do I have to search for the cause of this problem?

Re: Very low spark on 102 model AC
Thanks to all for the advices. Next week I will work it out. Let you know the results. Right now we are working on a 1936 Johnson model 200. Hard to start but it worked after cleaning tank and carb. Wow, that sound and the smell of the exhaust. Our concern is now the cooling. So we are busy enough a...

Re: Very low spark on 102 model AC
No point means that there is no solution?
And OK, we will change the gap to the right 0,50 mm.

Very low spark on 102 model AC
Hi, Our 102 model AC had not any spark in the beginning. After cleaning up the points of the Villiers Ignition and correcting the distance between the points to 0,20 mm (is that correct?) and a fresh sparkplug we got a very light spark, not enough to get the engine running. Could this happen because...

Re: Engine stop THC76250L
At first we could not remove the throttle valve piston. After carefully removing we cleaned up everything and it worked again. But appearently not enough. It could also be the cable indeed, because it is not in a very good condition. Maybe we have to get a new one, but then we will gather more spare...

Engine stop THC76250L
Friends, just a little question. My 102, which was in a shed for over 10 years, has been cleaned up. carb, tank etc. The carb valve did not move so made it running again. Just 3 pulls and running as new. Now I understood that all Seagulls can be stopped by closing the gashandle. On my others that wo...

Re: Little Forty LS20105
Think you are right, but tonight I am getting pictures of other Forties, however a bit younger then this one.
So, I may be in a position to choose the best and the cheapest. As a real Dutch I am always looking for the best prince/value.

Re: Little Forty LS20105
Thanks. Well, about 60,= pounds is not to much.
I saw a FV and liked it very much but it was not very complete. Missing parts of the carb and some non-original parts.

Re: Little Forty LS20105
Keith,
It runs but not very smoothly. Needs cleanup of Carb and spark etc.
That's no problem for me.
Do you think this is an attractive one?
And is the colour of the tank original?
I would rather have it black.

Little Forty LS20105
Goodmorning,
I read somewhere that the availability of spares for the Little Forty as above (LS20105) is very poor.
Is that true? Because someone offers one which looks good, but I don't want to buy a problem.
Attached some pictures
