They can be worth more than that...but what do you need from the front end , they are mostly moggy 1000 based.Most of the parts are available new. Trunnions are the normal culprit, followed closely by uprights. The idea of a 6 pot marina is a bit scary, even with the 1.3 they liked to go straight on...

My magellan just told me I was doing 29 knots up the Zaan.....at 1000 rpm on my 475 DAF (85pk )in a 27 tonne boat, I think it may have been a little optimistic!

Stelios...what you need is a thin smear, the stuff will get everywhere otherwise!

Tapping is a great idea, but I did once replace a core plug with a 2p coin, dished with a bal pein hammer. It never leaked.

I have often taken the "p" out of the town I was born in. Up there, they just form an orderly queue.
