OMC AU. Small But Collectable

Post by Collector Inspector »

Just Thought a head up is all.

It is an interesting year/model so should be investigated if interested. Seller says will post.

It is very lite weight so easy.

eBay item number:
191507955914

Looks like 1971 "evinrude Version" 2102A.

Johnson just had different decals.

If a good ending price it would be something unique in AU on a rack.

Cheers

Oh.. it is in Sydney. Quite away from me though. Not my thang. Not into plastic cowls :)

Could be be tempted by one of those folding leg jobs. What are they called?

I'm starting to worry about what my only daughter is going to do with too many motors when I drop dead. Hopefully the maritime museum will take the early ones.... I digress.

Don't worry to much mate, we will all give your daughter a fair price for them, when your gone.
But your right what happens to our motors when were gone.
I two have girls, and they don't mind boats at all. But the Seagulls are just to messy, for them.

Way too early to be thinking about that sort of stuff guys.

Continue collecting and enjoying your hobbies / life until the very end.

What happens afterwards is not in your control, so there's no benefit wasting precious time thinking about stuff like that.

Hmmm.... just spent weeks clearing my parents chattels. I think we should all have a plan, at the very least have a label on each with age, type and description. I would hate to think they could end up in a skip

Funny Hugo, i have been thinking the same thing.
I was dads death in 2011, that got me wanting to get his seagull going for mum on his birthday last year, they used to putt around the lake together, all very english.
She dies last week, and on monday I start the same job at her place. Cleaning it all up. Sad, but she was 95, and him 100.
So i my have a few more years of segulling in me yet.
