I had a Mariner 3.5 4 stroke and it was gutless compared to a Tohatsu 3.5 2 stroke that I have now, it was a pain to store in a vehicle when travelling with the oil running into the cylinder and then a pain to start and not that much better on fuel from memory, 2 stroke all the time for portable power, having to mix fuel/oil is a small price to pay
