I acquired this brass tube extension tiller some time ago.
I would be keen to know whether this is a factory supplied item and when was it available.
Does antbody know?
Thanks
Jeremy
The black plastic ball end has 'British Seagull' on it. The overall length is 15"Extension Tiller

Well I've been to a country fair and I've crossed the state line; I've even seen a goat rope, but I ain't never seen anything like that a'fore
Re: Extension Tiller
I've got one, it came with my FV5090 purchase.
Very handy with the 5" tiller arm Little Forty.

Re: Extension Tiller
How does it fit the stub tiller on the FV?
Re: Extension Tiller
I haven't got one myself, but I have seen them used on FV motors.
Just a tube in a tube.

Re: Extension Tiller
There is nothing sophisticated about it (thats a surprise for a Seagull design!!). Its just as Keith has stated - its a tube in a tube.
Yes, Jan, its very handy for an FV - stub or tilting.
Was it is contemporary with the FV/FVP or was it a later accessory?
