I know!! something's really not right upstairs but my justification is that most of these would have gone to the scrap yard for sure.

I know of people that have 3000-5000 old outboards, Jerseyman has a ways to go yet I would say.

Just like when I was in hospital there is always someone worse off than you are.

Take a close look at the photo of the gulls "congregating".
Now I'm not in the least jealous but you can see the ones in the front row stand all out , proud as, full on, easily able to be seen as seagulls.
But then, slip into the middle and rear of the photo and suddenly things get darker and murky.
I'm definitely not one to cast aspersions but hey, are they real full on seagulls or just a pile of flywheels and petrol tanks placed on maybe plywood or polystyrene sheets to fool all us old fools on site here?
I'm having a touch difficulty just now rustling up the price of a replacement carbie cable for a silver while here we have immense wealth sitting there unused.
Could ,should paid up members be encouraged to share out untold hoardings?

The wonder of the internet.
Went onto line to have a gecko at Jersey etc.
Wow, seems very very nice.
Mild weather ,great scenery , must have a most interesting history.
Recall seeing a film about the occupation ww2 , which gave no indication of the real Jersey.
The only matter that sent a tingle through me was looking up property prices.
Is it compulsory to be filthy rich or just most helpful?
Does it operate under full British law or is the guillotine kept on standby ?
Thee was one obvious property which stood out, divorced from all others as if sentenced to Coventry.
Anyone we know .
Anyway again , seems a rather brilliant place to live.

Love the pic with the seagulls hanging over the entry to the shed. Gives a clear indication of what may be lurking inside!

At a swap meet I visited recently, I witnessed an outboard collector being offered a number of seagulls free of charge.

in order to collect all he had to do was to show up at the owners property with an extension ladder ie as the seagulls were hung from the trees.

Apparently they had ben put there years earlier when the trees were much younger/smaller. The trees had since grown considerably and hence the seagulls were out of easy reach.

I guess there's a message there for all of us.

Rene if you keep on taking the medication you will recover unlike the owner of the following motors.

I wonder what he would say if I asked for the engine numbers?
