Swapping Exhaust tubes

I have a 100 century exhaust tube that is banged around and want to replace it with a spare from what I have been told is a 102 exhaust tube that may polish up ok. The 100 tube has 2 holes drilled in it and the 102 tube none. Would the water passage fitting on the 102 tube be enough/ or to much venting for the exhaust or should I just plug it and drill 2 similar sized holes like on the 100 century tube? Some may think this is a silly question but I hate doing things twice then find out I stuffed up both times.
