I Promised More Pictures Waaaayy Back

Post by mark1305 »

I had posted a few pics of my 1969 Forty Plus way back when I bought it and promised some pics of it at least hanging on the sailboat (a 1972 Gulfcoast 20).

Have been sidetracked but hung the motor on the boat's built in motor well today. It looks like the shaft is long enough to keep the prop in the water unlike the super short Evinrude 2hp I've had to mount on a bracket that raises and lowers. We're past the Florida thunderstorm season now but getting cool fronts with strong winds every few days. Soon I'll get some good sailing weather and get this motor out for some trials.

Updates as soon as I can get out on the water.

It wont be the fastest trip with a 4o+ but it should get you there.
Looks like a nice clean motor.

Not really big enough in a breeze but looks a nice motor and should be exciting.

Let us know how you go with this aye?

Of all my Seagulls, the 40+ is the most troublefree.
