Hi John,

I am glad that somebody on this site has rescued this FVP. Well done for getting it.
What are your plans for it?

Cheers,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy

Seemed too good to miss at that price . For now its in the shed with others which I've acquired but its a tidy wee motor so would like to restore it or at least tidy it up and make it run . A chance find of a 1932 Evinrude Elto 0.9 hp in a skip last summer has snowballed into a crazy collection . It just seemed a shame some of these old classics were being scrapped .

cheers

John

Interested to see your Little Forty
I'm just working on FVP6842T
Do you have the same IMPORTANT decal on the tank
I've managed to get a spark at the flywheel but nothing at the plug yet

My FV has some of the decal, not as good as yours though. Find my thread with the video. The thread is FV15020 i think (completely forgotten the serial number)

Has anyone else got a Seagull with that fuel mix/points gap label?

I wonder if it's a Seagull one.

Jeremy have any of your hand books got that points or fuel info?

Hi Charles,

No, I haven't seen anything like this before. I suspect it is American in origin due to the gasoline and I suspect the American size gallon.

Nice to see FVP6842T receiving attention.

Jeremy
