Seagull ID

Post by Scotplumb »

Hi all. I am new to the seagull restoration game. But not new to the enjoyment of the sound of a seagull outboard. Takes me back to my younger days.
I recently found a seagull outboard in a skip at my local recycling yard. It was salvaged for free :P I could not believe my luck.
It all looks to in good condition and no parts broken or missing.
I need to start at the beginning with the restoration. I am having trouble Identifying the model.
I would be great full if some one could help me. It has SJM 55752 stamped on the shaft.
Many thanks

If you go back to the board index page, in the announcements section you will find the engine identifier, just type your engine number in there.

All the information your looking for is on here, it's just a matter of finding it.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
