Seagulls at the 2018 Perth International Boat Show

Post by AusOB_Collector »

Over the weekend just gone, the Westralian Old Outboard Chapter displayed at the 2018 Perth International Boat Show. This is the third year we've been invited to exhibit at one of these boat shows. Had numerous motors on display including Seagulls, Anzani's, Johnson' & Evinrude's, and some rarer motors such as the Australian Cromac Cadet and Australian Olympic, the English Viking, and the Swedish Archimedes AB25.

Having a prime location directly opposite the main entrance, we had several hundred people come through the display, with most commenting on how they remembered the Seagulls from their childhood.

For more pictures, please visit our website at http://ausobcollector.wixsite.com/wooc or find us on Facebook at "Westralian Old Outboard Chapter".

Cheers,
BP

I've always been intrigued by the Olympic, only ever seen one & that was in NZ, but I wasn't allowed to take it to bits to see how much is owed to Seagull.

Has anyone ever done a CSI investigation on one, to see if any of the components were made by British Seagull.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
