Anzani Pilot

Post by StephenRT »

I acquired a 1.5 hp Anzani Pilot last year which I am hoping to use this season on my inflatable tender.
The manual refers to Castrol Underwater Grease as the recommended lubricant for the gearbox. Does anyone know what sort of grease this was and if there is a modern equivalent?

Castrol Boating Grease.

Boat trailer wheel bearing grease, any brand otherwise.

If the bush to water pump thingy is sound with no play use this................Is near enough exact to old school requirement.

Thank you both for your suggestions.
I’ve found a couple of UK suppliers of the Penrite semi-fluid grease but will check the internals of the gearbox before making a final decision.
