Solid alluminium c clamps ?

Post by Niander101 »

Got a large seagull alluminium transom bracket and it has Solid alluminium c clamps with no markings on the c clamps
It does has bent bronze thumb screws
Im wondering if these c clamps are seagull or aftermarket?

It did look a little different from the standard transom, but though that maybe the clamps had been added to the transom from a damaged or older transom, as the bracket looks to be a lot later than the clamps.
You may have to put up a picture for the ones that didn't see them, if its the ones off Fleabay, was it something like £15 postage, if I remember rightly.

I have a pair of these clamps. There was some discussion about them here.
