I think it's an Evinrude model 8008 50hp Storm Boat Motor from WWII.

Much too heavy for me.

I have a storm boat motor,post war they were known as Big Four. VERY HEAVY!! :cry: They sound fantastic when running though :D Sadly most end up as "shed ornaments" and are approached with curiosity by the uninitiated :shock:
Remember,dust and dirt are the enemies of all moving parts...keep your motor clean and it will repay you!

A big four complete with racing lower end is in 1 hours drive from me.

Needs a tank.
