Not in the South near Salisbury, anyway. My good friend Andy and I dragged lots of rare Seagulls over to Ibsley each year and we only had a couple of guys from this forum. More Marstons than you could shake a stick at, all demonstrated running, with SDs and FVs etc as well as other makes from way back.

Good luck with the idea, I still think it's the way to go!

The vendor phoned me twice, in response to an email asking for the numbers, so I could register this Marston, he came across as a perfect gentleman, in fact he could have been "headownassup's" twin, same profession but with a northern accent & a little older, all his knowledge on this motor came from SOS & ebay.

He did pass comment on the number of calls, texts & mails he got asking if he had a "buy me now", during the "feeding frenzy"!

I would call this one as an honest barn find, series 3 OA, unmessed with by the current owner, with a painfull spark, requiring minor attention to return to original.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

It's not far from me if anybody wants assistance with pick up etc. It will be well looked after. I wont be bidding at that price. Too busy overspending on the triumph at the moment.
