Oh dear knackered OP

Post by Oyster 49 »

I just came across this, and have asked the seller for the engine number. It's in a bit of a state, not even a parts engine in my view. Cracked block, wrong carb early post war brass tank, tank brackets? correct transom bracket missing, water pump housing rudder mount broken off. Fuel tube, missing, wrong tiller, exhaust damaged.

I do hope nobody on here spends silly money, its a heap of junk. In effect you would be bidding for a magneto, that most likely needs a new coil and points, thats £90.

Well, someone has bid £25....allegedly.
What amazes me is the old junk that most would chuck out, arrives on ebay with deluded sellers convinced that it is worth a fortune
