Came across this earlier. SD cylinder attached to a later crankcase and the serial number removed, with dodgy restamped number. Im surprised the seller has not at least pointed out the crancases are not original.

You might be being a little bit harsh, as that appears to be a Seagull made replacement SD crankcase.

Which would you prefer original crankcase with tired main bearings or a replacement that probably has done much less work?

Your right Tam, I've had bits from him, accurately described, & no problems, reasonable price & not blasted.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I’d expect the seller to point out that the crankcases are not original he will know this.

I’ve also had parts from this seller.
