I wire brushed off the nickel on a fuel cap so l assume you can do the same to the early amal throttle lever. SD 571 is in Germany. I don't have the details for 575 do I?

Yeah could do that but would rather leave a chrome one for someone who needs a chrome one. I assume it is a non chrome one i need for it???

Good O. Of the 37 levers documented 34 are brass so l think that is a safe conclusion. I'll publish the updated registry soon.

Couple of other things. Yours should have gearbox with nipples on starboard side and the crankcase on the tiller side should have a number... B3xxx. I wouldn't be too worried about the nipple orientation.
