Seagull refueller
Does anyone have any details on the seagull refueller, like years of manufacture, how many were made etc.

Re: Seagull refueller
The are from the 1970's, as you can see the advert is for decimal money and that happened in 71. I have the same can as in the advert, steel can plastic spout.
Previous Refuellers had round tanks and rubber pipes for the transfer of the fuel.
The one in the advert works well, if you stick the spout into the Tank the fuel stopes transferring when the level reaches the spout. Stick the spout well in and you usually don’t get spills even in a seaway.

Picked up this for 13 pounds on ebay. Obviously had a super dodgy paint job, I’ll sand blast and repaint.

That is a good find, have been looking for many years and have never found one.
Had better get the sand blaster set up
Has anyone else got one ?

I've never seen that style before, though I do have a 20 litre red remote steel tank with enough of a water slide transfer & fuel mix to show that it was sold by Seagull about that time.
Nice find!
Nice find!
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Refueller arrived today, it’s in good condition all round with very little rust on the inside and no dents, should clean up nice

Re: Seagull refueller
The one I have came with a 40+ along with spare crankcases and a bucket of spares!
Don’t have a separete photo of it but that’s it in the back of the car along with on the left a 40 featherweight, a Centuary in the middle and the 40+ on the right. Inflatable and fishing gear allso fits in!

Petroleum Sprit
Seagull -------------
-------------Refueller
Highly Inflammable
Setout like the above.
Have tried to photo it but it’s very difficult to see the inscription in the bad light we have today.
