There are only 4 issues. Was too hard to keep producing at that level. Moved on to other things. People were difficult about it, so it became all too hard, so I just stopped doing it.
But the 4 we did get out were not bad, if I say so myself.

Hickson Sea Sled - for sale
Ages ago I remember a discussion about hull shapes that mentioned the Hickson Sea Sled.

Re: Australian Olympic vs British Seagull AD102
Another Australian Olympic has turned up in Oz, this one in Lilydale VIC, engine number '450'. The vendor is the daughter of the original owner (now deceased) and is looking for a good home for his two motors. The other, with the broken gearbox fin, is a British Seagull AD19664. The two motors have ...

Re: Steel 'Johnson-style' tank
Thanks Charles, knew someone would have the definitve answer!
Alas, it's not mine, although Boyd chimed in from West Oz to say he's got one, so they did get to Australia. The one in the pics is from Sacramento CA, a 'Delta' sailor on the FB group.

Re: Steel 'Johnson-style' tank
Wasn't suggesting it was anything special, just that I'd never seen one before, and was curious as to how/when/where it was offered. I'd seen the plastic version of this tank, but never seen a steel one before. Was it a 'standard item' or an 'optional extra' for 'extra range' or 'long range' or some...

Steel 'Johnson-style' tank
Heya! Just saw on FB group a pic of a US motor with a steel version of the large cap plastic tank I'v eonly seen before on QBs. It makes the Seagull look a bit like an older exposed-flywheel John-rude, with a slight wrap-around steel tank, but the tank has all the correct Seagull water slide transfe...

Seagull enthusiast seeking support
On a Facebook page, a feller is looking for other Seagullians to help make a bit of noise and smoke (always smoke) in Bristol.
Anyone up for it, get in touch with him via fb

Re: Model 55 no spark issue
OK, ta. Figured it would mean replacement of the CDI unit. Will order one from John. Cheers Yeah, it is a nice little motor, but it came without a recoil start and just the rope pull on top, which I've seen similar motors with in pics, so assume this was a 'povert pack' version minus the recoil? My ...

Model 55 no spark issue
G'day all Recently was offered an EFPC (Model 55) 40 Series from approx Jan'84. As I already had a GFPC (same same but with Bing carb) I thought it would yield spares if nothing else. So in trying to get it going I have: - cleaned the plug (then replaced it with new) - cleaned the tank and put in fr...

That sounds like the Deluxe method of fixing the problem, but clearly does the job and lasts.
I'll pass that on.
