Re: 102 gear boxes

It sure is, my brass plug is brittle and seems to be fixed solid in the alloy casing. Any suggestions before I drill it out? Does the plastic plug have the same thread?

Re: amal jets

I checked a collection of jets, they all were 0.18" or 4.7mm.

Re: British Seagull (20 foot) Trunnel-Boat

I only asked .....

"But does it work? In the plan it looks like a curved shape, can the motor tilt?"

Can we clear the filter, blow the jets clean, do the regulation 'two pulls' and resume motoring?

Re: British Seagull (20 foot) Trunnel-Boat

But you can at least see the trunnel, which is a cutout tunnel aft of the well.[/i] But does it work? In the plan it looks like a curved shape, can the...

Re: British Seagull (20 foot) Trunnel-Boat

I would like to see more information on the hull design of the Trunnell boat. Maybe it could perform better than my 8' boat.

It fits, all I have to do is find some way of locating the bottom end of the 102 pipe to the 40+ small exhaust stub. And it's an easy/better solution to trying to fit th...

Re: which propellor

...' eems a lot of work to reduce a 102 exhaust to fit the 40+ pump housing . Wouldn't it have been a lot easier to have simply used the larger Silver or Century pump housing #100/1358 that matches that gearbox? ' Well, I already have a 102 and a C100 and some 40+'s. This combination looks very smar...

... 'You don't have to run water back into the exhaust tube but it will quieten it down a little if you do.'

Too late - it's done, water into the exhaust etc. Can't tell the difference in the sound with my standard 102 and C100.
