Saving Old Seagulls

Hi John,
I will get some better pics over the weekend and post them up.

The PVC was /is 2 bits glued together then the top layer had a thread cut in it with a round nose cutter then I covered it in primer and another layer of glue.

As far as I know it was painted as assembled parts then the filler plug was changed out for a clean one, the bolts were also changed.

PS does the cat know were it’s name comes from?

I don't think it is going to be Cello Tape (unless the cat was found in a sticky mess)

I will have to dig out my bits and have a look. Where is the number stamped ( I haven't looked so I have no clue) and there is not enough bits to make an engine or even start looking for the rest of it.
Like the rest of us I will keep them here just in case some one needs a bit.

That is a lot of money for an engine that is seized and has a cracked block!

I have one or two bits for one of those... flywheel, magneto and base, gearbox (no prop) drive shaft
I will dig it out and have a look / take some pics of it.

I have seen that chain in the shops before... now I just need to remember what shop!

I think it may be a JAP model "O" type 2 34cc two-stroke engine (the type 2 or 28 are the same apart from where the spark plug is)

Dem bolts look a bit sick
where they like that or did you do it to them while trying to remove the flywheel?
Put some WD40 down the taper for a day or two then have another look.
