As far as I know it was painted as assembled parts then the filler plug was changed out for a clean one, the bolts were also changed.

Re: Super Single
I will have to dig out my bits and have a look. Where is the number stamped ( I haven't looked so I have no clue) and there is not enough bits to make an engine or even start looking for the rest of it.
Like the rest of us I will keep them here just in case some one needs a bit.

Re: Super Single
I have one or two bits for one of those... flywheel, magneto and base, gearbox (no prop) drive shaft
I will dig it out and have a look / take some pics of it.
You pay the shipping and the bits are yours

Re: Non seagull outboard I. D
I think it may be a JAP model "O" type 2 34cc two-stroke engine (the type 2 or 28 are the same apart from where the spark plug is)

Re: Non seagull outboard I. D
Dem bolts look a bit sick
where they like that or did you do it to them while trying to remove the flywheel?
Put some WD40 down the taper for a day or two then have another look.
Be patient grasshopper!

Re: Non seagull outboard I. D
how does this flywheel come away... Looks like you will need to make a puller (flat plate with holes that match the ones in the flywheel) find some bolts that fit in the holes in the flywheel. Put the nut on the crank so it is just undone a bit. put the plate with the holes in over the top, then wi...
