Yes...We all love Pics, especially detailed ones like these, accompanied by a Bio of the Engine itself! Nice one.

Re: AD2710
I think we're simply experiencing one of the 'quiet times' we occasionally get on here. With fewer Seagulls being obtained by "Normies" who are looking for advice, and gravitating towards the Site, as well as some Members either giving up (or Deceased) then it's waiting for other folks to ...

Re: Scored piston
I'd like to see a Photo as well. I've seen Pistons that were salvageable in the past, but it all depends on the degree of damage. I came across a Lad who had "Seize Marks", and it turned out he was running it on 25:1. Polished it up, fitted new Rings, went back to 10:1, Motor running fine ...

Thanks for the prior warnings, Andrew. If anything goes wrong these days, I immediately think "My Computer's buggered" Nice to know it's 'normal' while things up-date.

Re: Seagull with a tugboat (Youtube)
I have to confess to feeling rather peeved right now. I got rid of a nice old Boat, because my 20hp Mercury blew up, and I couldn't afford another Motor.

Re: Mercury 3.3hp No Tell Tale Water
Another stupid suggestion... Bit of thin wire/flimsy coathanger/welding rod, and poke it up the Tell-Tale hole, and pipe, and everywhere it 'might' have a slight blockage? Clutching at straws myself here. It won't be the first time I've heard or seen a bit of crud or gasket sealer stuck, after a bit...

Re: Mercury 3.3hp No Tell Tail Water
Just from personal experience-I've had 2 Seagulls and a Mercury 20HP that wouldn't squirt out of the Tell-Tale if I left the Propeller on in my Test Barrel. If nobody comes up with an alternative answer, it might be worth a try.

No problems this end, I simply didn't expect something like this 'out of the blue' so to speak. If the Forum requires it now, I'm more than happy to comply.

Change Password. Why?
I logged in as usual, only to be told I 'had to change my Password to continue'. Any particular reason for this? Hacking? Scamming? Inquiring minds need to know!

Re: Odd link
It must have been either a 'glitch' or an update. I had the same, but it's ok now.
