Re: Newbie from Suffolk

Yeh it's a nice little boat needs a bit of work to get it up to scratch but we had a bit of fun out on it last year. Could be up for sale quiet possibly with the century as well as my father inlaw has bought a smaller boat and a new outboard so why I'm sinking money into this forty I don't know but ...

Re: Newbie from Suffolk

I don't have any pics of the outboard on the boat but here's the boat the day we put it in the water. She had sat for two years in my father inlaws old garden she was put in the water because we were moving and didn't have anywhere to keep her. http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/ab14/rdy416/9D4307C9...

Re: Newbie from Suffolk

One becomes cunning in integrating them into ones household accoutrements: There are two dismantled Seagulls in boxes under the Moroccan saddlebag. I would imagine if you have a missus you would be even more cunning  Hiding Seagulls.JPG Love it :D i have a old car that I've been modifying fo...

Re: Newbie from Suffolk

If I was to buy it I'd only tidy it up make sure it runs and move it on as long as I could sell it to cover my costs of buying it shipping it to me and what ever parts it would need to put it right. I don't really need another engine but I do like working on cars etc and enjoy getting things that d...

Re: Newbie from Suffolk

Oh right that's handy to know I'm really not sure what they are worth but I need to find out what the shipping will cost and how much the parts will cost me to buy to fix it to know if it's worth my while in buying it. In honesty it looks to be in good order I've seen worse but worries me that's it...

Re: Newbie from Suffolk

Hi Ross The parts that are missing from the 40+ are relatively easy to get. I am the person on this forum who collects data from the SJP model 40+ motors. Do you have the pics and serial number of the motor in question? Cheers BP Oh right that's handy to know I'm really not sure what they are worth...

Newbie from Suffolk

Hey all my name is Ross. Couple of years ago I got my father inlaws old silver century plus running and we currently use it on our boat a 17ft Yorkshire coble. I'm now currently in the process of restoring a little forty which he acquired years ago but he's neibour looked at it and couldn't get it r...
