Hi, the piston on my silver century looks scuffed on quite a large proportion of it's surface. Is it ok to polish it up and fit new rings? It runs well however, but I' m concerned it might seize in the future. When I rotate the flywheel by hand , it feels a little tighter than it was an hours run ea...

Figured it out! I can see now where all the screws go and what they are for. Just hope the engine works when I've finished it!

Thanks Andrew, I suspected that might be the case. I have a new coil and condenser, so maybe I 'll try and rebuild it as a villiers system.

Mixing ignition systems

Hello again after a long break, I am servicing my engines. I have been using a wipac system on my TC102. But I have a villiers flywheel that has much better magnetism. Can I use it on the wipac ignition plate?
