Yes it's brass.its been painted ,I've wirewooled the paint off and it's nickel on brass as far as l can tell,definitely brass.
Sorry for my lack of knowledge, lm just getting the Gull bug.Fun isn't it.

As above,the one with the pip type venty thing,got it with a few bits and pieces,it was on an old Anzani tank,I've been informed that it's a bit rare? Anyone want it? throw me an offer.
