Re: An offer you can not refuse.

I Dont think its worth as much as the owner may have paid. Then to re build it it would cost another fortune.
Still would have been a good project.

Anyone know when they stopped using Terry jubilee clip type tank straps SD style?
Is it me or is the transfer off centre, to large or are the tank straps to wide?
Not nit picking just a general comment

Re: Donating seagulls

Yes I see your problem Hugz, those from Ramsey Street complaining about the sound of a roaring two stroke in the bath. It can often offend those who don’t understand the importance of such things. At least the next floods won’t affect you unless you’re on the ground floor?

Re: Lanyard

Neat idea HA. I use a skanky piece of blue nylon rope long enough to be able to disconnect from the transom bracket. And drag onboard if necessary stops that thought of losing your pride and joy to Davy Jones locker.

Sorry to hear about your injury dammed heavy those bongos. Hope you find a suitable candidate to share your affliction with. When Seagulls where invented you would have simply found yourself a servent to do the lifting. Not PC I know, have you thaught about a engine hoist?

Re: do we know of a tin basher

A college friend of mine blew some dints out of a old round brass 102 tank of mine. He used argon gas after blocking off the tap hole and adapting the filler. The gas filled at around 85-90psi and a acetylene torch to heat around each dent. Most pushed out but the severe ones where beyond redemption.
