That's interesting , I have considered trying this to aid going astern in choppy conditions . I'm just reluctant to drill holes in an almost new engine for an experiment !

Thanks for posting , interesting link . Cool pictures . I see alot of competitors have added an extra piece to the anti cavitation plate .

ACR1025L

I have acquired ACR1025L . If I punch this into the identifier I get age unknown . If I remove the R it comes up as 1947-48 . Would this R denote reconditioned ?

I read that the skeg was often broken , unfortunately mine was a victim of the courier but I have the broken bit so can repair it !
