Re: First time here
Hi Pete Welcome to the site where you become crazed by these wee engines. You'll soon have a few, it's a certainty. We've all been through it. Mind you, some put parts in the dishwasher or oven so if you're married be prepared for some harsh words from the missus. Enjoy the site, I'm sure you will. ...

Re: Wanted british seagulls dead or alive in carlisle area
Hi, good to hear we have another Seagull enthusiast on the forum. The best bet is to keep an eye on ebay, there's not a lot of these babies comes up in our neck of the woods. I live near Dumfries and have found one in the past 7 years, so I would suggest you might be advised to look south, many gull...

Hey, don't worry about your English I find it hard to understand my granddaughters, they've got their own language. Have you seen how they talk in the text mesages to each other???????? As for your small problem, I have three 40+ engines and they all have a small self tapping screw at the top of the...

Hi Guys, can I ask why you tie a knot on the end? I prefer to leave it without a knot to eliminate it snagging and causing a sore wrist or whatever. Maybe others will give their thoughts.

Charles, I just found myself engulfed in your tale, however I have to admit the ending wasn't to my expectations.
I thought you were going to say, Dr Who or Barbie, owned a Seagull. Nice story though!

Re: Drive shaft problem
Hi Stelios
Sorry I don't have the sizes to answer your question but with a look at the picture you showed us, what came to my mind is you have the wrong shaft, ie. a standard length shaft in a long shaft engine. Maybe one of the guys will put us straight on this, but that's my thought.

Re: Forum not very lively!
Just spent the afternoon on boat watch, not by choice. I was up at Largs marina watching the delights of sailing when a family arrived in the public car park. Dad, somewhat lively, produces an inflatable and a small outboard. Something told me he didn't have a clue, and so it proved. Putting the din...

Re: Want a New Seagull?
Tank decals looked a bit tatty for a new item, even bad storage wouldn't do this surely. Some of the guys can refurbish seized engines to look like, or even better, than this. Do they have rogues in Tasmania? Wouldn't get a guy trying that in Scotland???

Now, is that Keith in the blue vessel with the young crew member sitting laughing at him? And, who's the prat with the hat "Damn Seagulls", could that be Mr H-A? I hope it is, otherwise I've just insulted someone else. Now who's the man and woman with the dog?
Looks a great day.
