Re: Original?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5bNhQrKay0 Listened to this and was moved almost to tears. But as to the timber of the crate: I recently saw one at Jan's place. I didn't do a proper identification of the wood, but as I remember it was ordinary fir or maybe a cheap quality of pine. Nothing special. ...

Re: Lubricating stainless steel threads.

What about Ceramic grease? I use that for the brakes of my car instead of copper grease. Ceramic grease has the advantage that it is very well water resistant, doesn't dry to a crust and doesn't affect any metals. It has a white colour. Re: New chrome drive shaft tube 102 Plus

I can make it a bit cheaper because the chromer made the second one a bit cheaper. For € 70,00 or £ 52,00 + postage is it available. It will fit all 102 long shaft models (Plus as well as the standard) , the only restriction is that height adjustment by using the extra collar is not possible.

Any 102 long shaft if you don't need height adjustment. I'm not sure it will fit other models. Maybe century silver?

New chrome drive shaft tube 102 Plus

A newly chromed, in fact brand new drive shaft tube for a 102Plus (barge pusher). I had this one made, but the metal worker misunderstood my wishes and made the thicker drive shaft tube. He's now making the right one for me. It is a perfect tube, beautifully chromed, in fact better than new but not ...

Re: Long to Short shaft conversion

I think the thicker drive shaft tubes are only on the barge pushers. These are thicker in the middle part, top and bottom have the normal diameter. At least on my two 102's this was the case.

Mine has no lettering on it, otherwise exactly the same.
