This is what i do to remove flywheels, as the cranks bend very easily

You can anneal the gasket on the gas stove, cherry red and quench in water.

Have looked at the sellers Facebook page and he is doing them very well. But over £300 including postage is a tad on the high side I would say. I have a red one like that, that came from halfords, same style can but not embossed with Seagull.

I doubt that cylinder will be of any use, look closely at the cleaned up area, that is a crack.
Blue Hermatite and polished crack area shows he has been in there.
Lucky you did not pay much for it.
