Not 100% sure, but I would think that decal might vary subject to year/model and installed carby.

I came across this collection of Seagulls in the Maritime Museum in Townsville. One of the staff told me that they were all in going condition but I think he was a bit optimistic. There were a couple of forty series (not pictured) that might run, but the rest wee definitely in " as found"...

Hi Andrew,

The question has been asked on several occasions about the SD stamped in to the upper crank case. Note sure that we have an official answer, but it is very very common. We see it a lot here (in Australia) on AD 102 Seagulls.

It has nothing to do with the Wartime SD 102.
