She's quite a famous boat on the Auckland dinghy racing scene. Her name is ‘Kiteroa’ sail number 71. She’s a Frostbite design sailing dinghy. built by Robert Brooke in 1964. She’s NZ Kauri construction, double riveted etc. I’m the third owner.

From her builder…….

Hi Adrian
Very pleased to hear that Bob has sold Kiteroa to you.
She was probably the most successful of all my frostbites.
We won a lot of races in her as did Bob.
The name Kiteroa comes from the name given to my wife’s grandfather Sir Henry Brett.
The Brett house that stood it Takapuna by Lake Pupuke for many years.
It was called “Te Kiteroa” which means “The Long View”
Kiteroa was built in 1964. She looked great and was very fast.
I would very much like to see her sometime and if your require any help at all just let me know.
All the best
Robert

The two clinkers you have shown, in the Puget Sound area (Microsoft / Amazon wealth) you could probably ask 2000.00US / 1275.00 GBP and sell within a week. Well cared for wooden boats are worth their weight in gold out here.
