I tested with a 2hp yamaha today , not as fast as my silver century . but smooth , quiet and smoke free and light , did I say easy to start . hah , who would have one ?

I still rate the hard chine concept. A bendy ply boat is pretty good, but they need to be wide to generate the lift. I think the Chilly Dog boat is wide enough to pull it off, but our first bendy ply boat 'Paris Hilton' was narrow-ish had some problems with trim and weight carrying ability.

I'd like to refine the hard chine concept with a properly moulded boat, but that's expensive and time consuming. So will probably run 'Paris Mk2' down the Waikato again next year. There will be a couple of ply versions of her out soon, so will be interesting to see how they shape up.

turned her over and smoothed out the bottom some what this week .
was a rushed rough job first up !

Hi Chris, I been trying to lobby the twenty foot class is just that 20 ft no less no more + or - 1ft maybe.

I think it should be 20ft +/- an inch max. I reckon anyway.
