Good morning ,
I am living in Poland and have a question l wish to buy this boat ( see Fotos ) its a szuwarek 364 it is 72 kg and l have a seagull 40 plus motor, will it push this boat ok.

Depends on how fast you want to go. I guess the 364 means 3.64 M ? My guess maybe 8 km/Hr.

thanks Phil I dont need to go fast 8 km is enough, its 11,11 foot, they have some funny boats here for river fishing they use 28 foot long 3 foot wide flat bottom boats with 5/6 hp motor and they are very fast.

My boat is the same lenghth and I use a 40+ which pushes it along with no problems

It is a semi displacement hull and top speed is governed by the waterline length unless you can get it to plane. a small seagull pushed my 14ft very happily and a 6hp suzuki didn't make it go much faster.
Very similar to yours but 150kg.

Thats a very nice Looking boat , Semi displacement, How do,s this Type of hull rum in different sea states.

Very good sea keeping qualities. Loads of freeboard. Doesn't suffer from slap as do many flatter or triple hulls. I don't go out when the weather is rough but I have been caught out a few times and this is a good boat in rough seas.

the boat is now sitting on a trailer in my garden l am looking for a way to build a tent on the boat to be able to sleep and take cover in bad weather, maybe someone here on this forum has some tips, regards barrie

I have some 9mm glassfiber tent poles l could make something like on the Yorkshire Coble (see Foto ) and do it like this see foto 2 barrie :D

Have a look at " Thames Rowing Skiff tent"

Quite a common thing in its day, you can still hire them on the Thames.
