Bermudian Hull Build

Post by doppler491 »

Decided at the last minute to build a new hull for this year’s RISR. Here are some pics of the process... In total three pieces of 1/4” plywood was used (for hull + deck). 1x2 was used to attach the deck to and 1x3 was used as stringers. Transom was I believe a spare piece of 1/2” that was laying around. Stitch and glue method utilized.

Hi
Is that the the same style as the pink one (I think it was number 13)?
What is over all width?

Yes, same style as #13 but we are <16’ long. Width is mid 30s whereas in the 24’ hulls (like #13) it is less than 30”. The width is something we play around with as we try to find max speed.
