Another Australian Seasprite Rescued

Post by AusAnzani »

After some discussion in Ci's thread 'Latest Old Dear', and all the great support and advice he provided, I made the journey back today to rescue my very first Australian Seasprite outboard.

My aim with this one is to return to as new condition, after fixing some of the 'Oh Dear' issues created by the previous owner. Mote on that during the restoration.

Here you can see one of the 'Oh Dear' issues. A frozen screw drilled out by the previous owner, destroying portion of the carb body in the process!

And for the moment, let's just say the second and third 'Oh Dear' issues, are here.

In addition to the above, it has no spark and is currently missing spark plug lead and lead cover.

Will be marking a start on this once the Anzani has been completed.
