2B or not 2B that is the question.

Hello all,

Brendan has come up with a page I had been wanting to add for a while.

It is an eBay seach page.

When you open it it is set to search for the Key words, British Seagull, but I have and you can, alter it to look for aything you want.. I searched for 'Chestnut roasters' and armoured cable' it works great.

The added bonus is if you then buy anything whilst using it, eBay will donate a bit of their profit to the SOS site!

It has only been running a few weeks but so far £16.00 is in the kitty!

I have also seen more of the extortionate prices asked for parts on the bay, so as a caution if you see a part, look on the spares page to see if it is one I have already listed, bet I can be up to 50% cheaper, especially when you look at the P&P charged by some of the sharks! If I have not listed the part, bet I have it, but have not gotten round to photographong it, so mail me for a price.

Examples, Oil, £8.99 a litre as opposed to my £6.50! Cables £17.00 instead of my £12.50, the list is endless.

Beware the 'This is rare' ploy! 25:1 conversion kits are neither rare, nor that expensive here!
Let us know what you think of the page and it's ease of use..

Today I have just taken delivery of an electric meter box bought through the page, that was 10p back!

Regards,
John

Errrrrrrrrrrr no.

Freemans/Sheridan may have a "John" but this one isn't he.

"SOS John" is the owner and proprietor of Saving Old Seagulls, based down Kent way. No where near Moulsford........

And for confirmation if you look at the top of this web page you will see that this forum is hosted on the Saving Old Seagulls company web site..................

Hello Dave, John From SOS in Essex here.

Freemans Cruisers in Moulsford Oxfordshire is owned by Sheridan Boatyard Mouslford. Andrew and Jackie and family run the yard and part of their work now is as the main dealer for Seagull. They bought the name and remaining new spares from British Seagull when I cleared the factory in '96.

New parts I sell come from them, but I am also able to offer used parts to suppliment the parts they no longer can supply. In addition I have had manufactured many parts no longer available or parts requested by owners, see the spares for sale page.

Regards,
John

So what about these guys in Queensland then.

http://www.britishseagull.com.au/

Do they have a deal with new owners?

Never have and never will buy from them.

Take Care

Hi Bruce, as far as I know they are agents and buy parts from them as I do, however some have suggested the prices to include the P&P to Oz, passed on to the punters, are a bit steep!

Cheers,
John

Hello Dave,
the Hydrofan produces marginally more thrust, but the semi weedless will shed a little weed, not all, by anymeans!
