When she gets back you will be able to point out how oily the oven is, and how she really should clean it more often..

Once they have smelt the burnt oil they never forget.

I have yet to try the dishwasher on a hot wash, am tempted to get a second hand one to try.

Double detergent and an intensive wash should get some gunge off.

Easy, just let wife know about oven bags for roasting etc.

Then, take it on to yourself to clean the clean oven once a week.....remember to buy oven cleaner with permission.

Oven does not get splattered so keep oven cleaner for Seagull bits. Stock up!

Oven then becomes YOUR property. Control wife baking habbits while demanding extra performance with no waste.

Use it as you see fit from then on.

Cure paint for example

Yes, my oven is clean from my own efforts..........................

Dishwasher, the same, take an interest in really getting it efficient for HID, take control, use as you wish.

It is not Gay to control important appliances for the better, only two bits of Seagull tooling aye?

There is, however, a problem with this action...............HIDs need to be needed?

Think seriously about that.

I didn't realise it was actually possible to clean an oven as an amateur. We have a man come in and do ours every year..

On the dishwasher front after subjecting a Wolseley WD8 head to an eco wash it took 4 lots of dishwasher cleaner to remove the petrol taste from the crockery.....not cost effective
Better to get a second hand dishwasher.....cheaper than a divorce

I found that if i stand the degreasing bath on the top of my speakers parts wash themselves.( Thats in the workshop as im band from washing any parts in the kitchen any more) Now what you listen to is up to you but it’s a dam site cheaper than a ultrasonic cleaner: P Simples but effective. Brave man to try messing with the domestic appliances without inheriting a lot of grief and extra work. If it needs to be baked its a few weeks behind the wood burner and blame the strange smell on the quality of the timber. Works for me just hope she doesn’t ever read this or the games up. As for the future trying to set up a wood burner for the new workshop then all i will need is a hammock.
