Looks like a design for fitting inside a dinghy. The mast or boom to sit in the top the box would sit port to starboard or vice versa. Nice honest little motor but i already have a good 40+ and one more that I’m fettling though it is only 40 miles away!

Yes those where the days. When you could put a sign on the side of your valuable packing case to advertise what was in it. Now poor old Mr Postie has to open some packages to see if its valuable
