I have just booked a holiday in Kinsale in September. Have any of our members fished this area ?
Sadly not taking my boat , so it is fishing from the shore. I will have harbour one side of the cottage and a sandy beach the other plus a fort (rocky) to the north.
I may be able to hire a small boat from the Trident hotel to fish the estuary (River Bandon) but will not go out as far as the Head of Kinsale. (Lusitania wreck).
Quite keen to catch Bass. ( or anything - HID permitting)
