Let's be fair now. We must have seen plenty like this before now.
For those in the know, we all know what it is. (don't we?) It's a bit of a bitsa on the quiet. (TC longshaft with a bargie box and the wrong transom mount that's cracked too  amongst other things that need addressing)

The seller might think it's something a bit special purely on the fact it has a "gear lever". BUT we all should know that a 102 like this NEVER had a reverse gear.

So, in my humble opinion, not that much of a LOL moment as this kind of thing happens all too often these days. We just end up taking the **ss out of it.
A good source for parts though, and at that price not too bad as long as the vultures don't go mad.

This makes me laugh, how long would it take someone to look up a model number and code and find out what model seagull they are selling.
It has nothing to do with "we are in the know", I know other things as well and this covers anything collectable.
When you see a Marston for sale and it inexplicitly disappears, HE has been educated and is now in the know and now he wants a lot more money.
I see it all the time, They haven't got a clue what they are selling, they are selling so you would expect them to find out what it is that they are selling, are we in the wrong for that?
Its a barge pusher, late motor, parts are common and already sitting in most sheds, so, no interest whatsoever.

Whilst the drawing is nice to have the parts book and operating instructions are not 1946..18th edition, more like late 1950s. Quite a misleading item. Also the same drawing is available on the SOS website for reference.
